Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)

Located 8km south-west of the former capital Kaesong, the rural village of Panmunjom is one of the most famous places to stay in Korea, since it is here that the armistice negotiations began and that the cease-fire that ended hostilities in 1953 between the USA and Korea was signed. On each side of the demarcation line, there are two worlds opposed one to another, with fundamentally different approaches, in a highly secured environment. A unique place to discover the weight of history and the reality of this "Bamboo Curtain"!
